Oberlo︎︎︎ is a dropshipping app of Shopify. Dropshipping is an online business model – you find products to sell and list them on your online store. Once your customers order products, they are shipped directly from your suppliers. By its nature, dropshipping is popular among aspiring entrepreneurs who would like to get started with small budget.

Project details
It’s exciting to receive orders from your customers. That also means it’s time to order products from your suppliers. While doing that, you need to double check your customer’s address, product and price and manage communication with your suppliers. It’s a lot of back and forth between Oberlo and Aliexpress, especially if you have lots of orders.
Our goal was to make order fulfillment efficient and automated as much as possible, while making it sure that all the information displayed in scannable manner for merchants to confirm before fulfilling orders.
Information architecture was defined based on what merchants usually check before fulfilling orders. Behavior of error states was carefully designed to only be present to simplify the view as much as possible.
