We help our customers to estimate wildfire ignition risk by looking at unhealthy trees. We had manually labelled them using an internal tool and it was one of the main bottlenecks to delivery value to our customers.
One of my first job was to integrate a work-in-progress ML output in the tool to make manual labeling faster and use human feedback to gauge and further improve ML model outputs. As a result, the unhealthy tree delivery process became 4x faster.

is mainly what our customers look for when reaching out to Overstory in addition to outage mitigation. I established a framework to build a product tailored for wildfire mitigation by understanding the industry, customers and business goals.
By telling a cohesive product vision story around wildfire mitigation, the wildfire team contributed to securing key customers, increased ARR and successful series B.
